Kim Connor-Hamby in for Cat Zingano, meets Leslie Smith at Invicta FC 3

With Cat Zingano's move to Strikeforce earlier this week, Leslie Smith was in need of a new opponent. She now has one.

Smith will face Kim Connor-Hamby at Invicta FC 3 when the all-female MMA promotion returns in October. Invicta officials on Friday announced the opponent switch.

Invicta FC 3 takes place Oct. 6 in Kansas City, Kan., and the event is expected to stream online for free.
