UFC lightweights Sam Stout and Spencer Fisher reminded the world last night why their trilogy was still relevant even if they hadn’t fought each other in five years, turning in an extremely entertaining back-and-forth brawl seeing Stout emerge with a closely-contested Unanimous Decision. In honor of both their bout at UFC on FX 4, as well as their two previous meetings, the two received Fight of the Night honors and an extra $50,000 for their collective showing.

Submission of the Night also went to an individual involved in a “feel good” story with Dan Miller notching the award. Miller put opponent Ricardo Funch away in closing minutes of the third round to snap a two-fight losing streak to the raucous approval of his fellow New Jersey natives in attendance. He too came away with $50,000 for the distinction.
Finally, Knockout of the Night and $50,000 were dished out to Cub Swanson for his scintillating stoppage of Ultimate Fighter 9 winner Ross Pearson. The win was Swanson’s second in a row by way of TKO.
