UFC 155 adds Leonard Garcia vs. Cody McKenzie

A featherweight match-up of Leonard “Bad Boy” Garcia and Cody McKenzie has joined the year-end UFC 155 event on December 29th. The bout was announced Saturday afternoon on Twitter by the UFC.

Garcia (15-9-1) appears to desperately need a win after dropping three straight and four of his past fight bouts. He last competed at UFC on FX 3 where he dropped a decision to Matt Grice. The entertaining Garcia holds wins over Nam Phan, “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung and Jens Pulver.

McKenzie (13-3) will also look to get back on the winning track after suffering a first round knockout to Chad Mendes at UFC 148. McKenzie, a member of The Ultimate Fighter 12, has recorded 12 of his career wins by submission. Eleven of those submissions have come via his trademark guillotine choke.

UFC 155 takes place from the GM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main event of the fight card is a heavyweight title clash between champion Junior dos Santos and former champion Cain Velasquez.
