In addition to officially announcing Forrest Griffin's replacement opponent in Phil Davis at UFC 155, the UFC on Friday confirmed several fights for the Dec. 29 event, as well as an official venue.

The card will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., and the card is officially going to be headlined by the UFC Heavyweight Championship rematch between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez. The two fighters fought last November, with dos Santos capturing the belt from Velasquez with a first round TKO.

Dos Santos had publicly commented on wanting to fight Alistair Overeem next, but with Overeem unable to be licensed until two days before this year end event, the UFC went with the original plan of this title rematch.

Those two fights will top the card, but the UFC also confirmed two more bouts for the event. The Chris Weidman-Tim Boetsch fight is officially set for the event, as is the lightweight bout between Gray Maynard and Joe Lauzon. The full card as it stands right now is below:

* Junior Dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez (Heavyweight Championship)
* Phil Davis vs. Forrest Griffin
* Tim Boetsch vs. Chris Weidman
* Joe Lauzon vs. Gray Maynard
* Alan Belcher vs. Yushin Okami
* Phil De Fries vs. Matt Mitrione
* Chris Leben vs. Karlos Vemola
