Clark (5-2) will be making her third appearance under the XFC banner in 2012. Clark, who trains at Jackson’s MMA in Albuquerque, most recently defeated Avery Vilche by first round rear-naked choke submission at XFC 18. She will moving down a weight class for the bout after previously competing at flyweight.
Eggink (1-1) will be making her debut with XFC in what will undoubtedly will be the toughest fight of her young career. She is a former member of the USA Boxing Team and is also a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Eggink’s stand-up skills could be a factor in nullifying the strength of the more experience Clark.
XFC 21, which takes place from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, is headlined by a lightweight championship fight between Nick Newell and Eric Reynolds. The main card for XFC 21 wil be televised live on AXS TV at 10:00pm ET.
