Guess which fighter won’t be standing in the unemployment line anytime soon? UFC lightweight TJ Grant (Pictured), that’s who.
Grant recently confirmed his four-bout contract extension with the UFC via Twitter.
The 28-year-old has posted a 6-3 mark inside the Octagon since joining the planet’s premier mixed martial arts promotion in April 2009. He owns a 19-5 overall professional record.
Grant was seen last month serving up an upset special over Evan Dunham at UFC 152. The unanimous decision win signified his third consecutive victory.
His big league defeats came in welterweight affairs against Dong Hyun Kim, Johny Hendricks and Ricardo Almeida, respectively. Grant is unbeaten since dropping to the 155-pound class three fights ago.
