Bellator is wrapping up its run on MTV2 and is set to debut on Spike TV in January of 2013. However, they still have a season to get through before that happens, and the beat kept rolling this past weekend for Bellator 76.
The Venue at Caesars Windsor Hotel & Casino in Windsor, Ontario, Canada was the setting for the show this past Friday, and the event was a sell out. It is no secret that the Bellator ratings, and ratings for MMA in general, have been streaky, though the card was well-received and drew 175,000 viewers.

While the ratings are up from Bellator 75, Bellator has yet to match their season opening numbers of 190,000. Many thought they would meet those numbers as the lineup featured Eddie Alvarez, who many consider to be Bellator’s most prominent fighter, though his headkick knockout of Patricky Freire was probably the last time he fights in the organization’s cage.
