Like if I tell someone I am / used to be gay people instantly believe it, but if I tell someone that I once saved a kid from having his head curb stomped by beating one of his attackers and chasing the other one off people instantly dismiss it.
Now both statements are absolutely true, but people only ever believe the first one. Why is that? Why is it so hard for people to believe others on the internet. Why can't people just accept there are people better than them at certain things?
