If Gegard comes over to the UFC, who would you like him to face?
Doesn't matter if they have a fight booked or not.
I would like to see him vs Machida. IMO that's a toss up, I give striking advantage to Gegard(not by much obviously). Grappling is also close. machida has nice trips, but Mousasi has a good guard. If I had to pick a winner, I'd pick Machida, due to him using his trips to get it to the ground.
Shogun would be another good fight. Both have solid chins, but Mousasi is much more technical on the feet. That doesn't necessarily matter, because shogun has beat fighters with more technical striking in the past.
Shogun also has very underrated takedowns. Unfortunately, I believe shoguns injuries have caught up with him. So I would pick Gegard to win that one.
These are the ones I wanna see, there's more but I don't fell like breaking them down.
