I get that amateur wrestling isn't a great "spectator sport", but you'd think with the soaring popularity of MMA they'd have more of a need to respect one of the oldest sports in olympic history.
To all wrestling knowledgable: how will this effect the sport/art of wrestling? Will there be less people signing up for wrestling and less resources dedicated to it, thereby lowering the output of truly great wrestlers?
